Mounaguru is fundamentally a thriller which brings together lots of threads & ties them up in an intriguing knot so that you don�t know which thread leads where until the director decides to reveal it to you. The basic requirement of a thriller is its unpredictability & Mounaguru fulfils that. It tells the story of a young man who is a simpleton. In fact, they is so straightforward that they does not know how to smartly avoid trouble even when it comes straight at him. This lands him in lots of hot water. It is such an incident that brings him in to the view of a corrupt police inspector, who sees him as an enemy. As a result, they is unintentionally dragged in to a narrative that they knows tiny or nothing about.

Mounaguru, the title suggests that the film is about a character that does not say much or does not say anything at all. In his third outing at the box office, Arulnidhi chooses to do something very different from his earlier. Not that his first movies were similar to each other; Vamsam & Udhayan were films in very different settings. But, Mounaguru is different, not in the context of Arulnidhi�s fledgling career, but also in the contest of contemporary Tamil cinema itself.

The first person to be congratulated on Mounaguru is its director Shantha Kumar. Over his direction, his writing impresses hugely. But, writing a script that is gripping & clever is thing, executing it without compromises in contemporary Tamil cinema is another thing; for a debutante. But, Shantha Kumar has completed exactly that, credit is also due to the producer for having faith in the script. The film very never deviates from the central plot; there is a tiny bit of relatives & romance, but that can be put down to the necessity of etching Arulnidhi�s character. It is not hero-centric. The antagonist & other characters are as important, perhaps even more, because they are the active players in the plot. &, the director�s decision to bring in a pregnant lady cop as an investigator at a key juncture in the film takes you by surprise; Uma Riyaz Khan produces of her best performances to date. &, the clever inquiry procedure is superb. The best thing about Mounaguru however is the fact that there is no heroism! Mounaguru takes you to of the most unpredictable climaxes in recent times that justify the title of the film

Revealing anything more about the story would be a tiny bit of injustice to the film. &, it would even be a very hard job to describe it in a few lines because there’s so lots of characters & minute details so important to the central plot. Very every single character & scene shown in the film contributes significantly towards the movement of the story, which is what sets Mounaguru apart.

With Mambattiyan Prashanth-Thiagarajan duo is back on screen after the colorful Ponnar Shankar! For those of you not updated on the film, Mambattiyan is the remake of the 80s blockbuster Malaiyur Mambattiyan that starred his brother Thiagarajan. After his bedazzling princely avatar in Ponnar Shankar, Prashanth is sporting a more macho get up in this Robin Hood style flick that has Meera Jasmine as the female lead.

Also on board are Prakashraj, Kota Srinivasa Rao & Mumaith Khan, making it the ideal mix for a Telugu version of the film . Mambattiyan is directed & produced by his brother Thiagarajan & the songs have already topped the charts. For the first time they pairs up with Meera Jasmine, who reprises the role of Saritha in the original. Mumaith Khan plays the part played by Jayamalini. Mambattiyan is not another remake, for the screenplay has been modified to attract today�s audiences; it is grander than the original & plenty of desires that remained unfulfilled while making the original have been realized in this remake.

As Thiagarajan has always said, the film is definitely a visual extravaganza! The picturesque locales are a treat for eyes. Cinematography has been given great importance in this remake & Shaji Kumar has taken care of it perfectly. Coming to the performances, it is Prashanth all the way! They is there in every single frame. Meera Jasmine & Mumaith Khan plays his love interest while Vadivelu, who is seen on screen after a longs time, fails to generate any impact. Another important role in the film is Prakashraj, that of a police officer, & they fits the bill perfectly.

Greedy landlord Periya Panna (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is always opposed by Chinna Samy (Vijaya Kumar), who works in Periya Panna’s farm. Irked by his behavior Priya Panna kills Chinna Samy & his spouse. & now enter our hero Mambattiyan (Prashanth), Chinna Samy’s elder son. Finally they takes revenge & then decides to safeguard his village forever. A group of children join him & they set their camp in a nearby forest, making Mambattiyan the local Robinhood. Now enter DIG Ranjith (Prakashraj), who takes up Mambattiyan’s case. From there the cat & mouse game begins!

None would have realized that the director Seenu Ramasamy Thenmerku Paruvakkatru will be so successful. This new film has won critical acclaim for its simple plot and has done quite well at the box office,

A source from the office of vivek oberoi’s office confirms this news; Vivek who had earlier viewed this movie seemed to be interested in it and has been in contact with Michael Rayappan.

Director Seenu Ramasamy however states that nothing yet has been confirmed as the talks are in the beginning stage. If all goes well, the actual movie making process may take place in another half year, as the actor is committed to other assignments. The director also added that a special screening of the movie will be done for the parties who are interested, and will begin from then. The director has also suggested a few changes for the remake to suit the cultural likings of the north. The director however claims tht there is a greater demand for a remake in Telugu.

It is in the grapevine that a Top Tollywood star’s son may play a led role in the Telugu. They are still in search for a prominent name to play the role of the mother, to match the perfection saranya who played the same role in the Tamil version.

Just Want to share it to Orutube users i am sharing this extra ordinary life journey of padmashree kamal hassan’s 50 years walkthrough in Tamil Cinema.

Born in a small village in paramakudi town on November 7th,1954 did anyone know this young boy is gonna change the tamil cini world forever.

Kamal Hassan was brought up by his parents D Srinivasan, A criminal lawyer and his mother Rajalakshmi.

He is not the only person in his family who came to cinema industry. His brothers chaaru hassan and chandra hassan are well known in the tamil industry especially chaaru hassan- The national award winning actor.

His first tamil movie came in the year 1989 ,august 12. The film was directed by the then tamil director Bhimsingh. The movie Kalathur kannamma features lead actors lke Gemini ganesan and many more. The extra ordinary performance in this film by Kamal earned him the national award for child artist in his first film. The song ammavum neeye becomes very famous and has its own place in people of tamilnadu.

His childhood film journey continues with his 5 sequential film with top tamil actors like Sivaji and M.G.R

Now he decided that his future is noting but tamil cinema. So he left his career for a while and spend his next days in learning support aspects for cinema like karate, bharathanatiyam etc. He made himself fit for tamil cinema in these days. In 1972 he is back with some low budget films like Arangetram and Sollathaan Ninaikkiren. And he finally get into tamil cinema in the film  Nan Avan Illai as a lead actor.

i was wondering about how tamil heroes today get into the industry without any homework or any other talents. This is the reason that most of them getting away with out even a single hits. This child hood preparation is the best thing that hold Kamal in tamil cinema industry for more than 50 years.

Now comes the teenage era of kamal hassan…The star turned into a super hit in malayalam film industry with his film “Kanyakumari” and receiving a Filmfare Award on the same year. He gets his feet again to tamil cinema with the legend Tamil director Balachandar’s apporva ragangal which again got him a filmfare award. He won 4 filmfare awards on the next 4 years. Its really an achievement for an beginner rite?

A number of films came after 1970 in which most of them were average films for him .This is the period when tamil film industry really missed Kamal. He did a huge number of films in other languages like malayalam and Telugu. The turning point came through his next balachandhar’s film Avargal in the year 1977 which won another tamil filmfare award.

The 1970′s was a period of balachandars films which carry a huge ocially-themed films like Moondru Mudichu, Manmadha Leelai, and Oru Oodhappu Kan Simittugiradhu and more. The films give a real chance for this young actor to show his talents as a natural hero.

The best of his performance is the mind blowing film 16 vayathinile in which he acted as paratta a mentally retarded person in which he shared the screen with other legend like rajini and sri devi. This performance get him another filmfare award and the third one in the row…

Again the filmfare girl knocks his door for the fourth time for his performance in the movie Sigappu Rojakkal in which he costarred with sridevi again. He performance as an anti-hero in this film got him a real play boy image in tamil cinema industry. More comedy flips also came the way like Ninaithale Inikkum and the horror film –  Neeya.

The onscreen pair sridevi and kamal hassan continue their film journey in many films like Guru and varumayin niram sigappu and many more in late 1980′s

Kamal also made guest appearance in many tamifilms. The one with Rajinikanth in his film Thillu mullu earned him a good name among Rajini Fans. In this periods comes his 100th movie Raja paarvai which is an average but earned him an aother film fare award. This is the period when kamal starts his own production house and his 100th movie comes from his own production house.

In the year 1980′s he started his bollywood debut with the super hit film Ek Duje ke Liye.
